About Tunary
Tunary is a free, browser-based guitar tuner and practice console — no signup, no install, nothing to download.
Most online tuners stop at "is this string in tune?" Tunary goes further: it's built for the part that comes after tuning — actually practising. In one tab you get:
- A tuner — live microphone pitch detection with a clear in-tune / sharp / flat readout, plus reference tones by ear.
- Alternate & open tunings — Drop D, Open G/D/E/C, DADGAD and more, for guitar, bass, ukulele, mandolin and violin.
- A drone — a sustained reference note (real recorded samples) to practise and improvise over.
- A drum machine — real kick/snare/hi-hat samples with a library of grooves and adjustable tempo.
- A chord library — chord shapes computed for the tuning you're actually in, with a search and key-family browser.
- Song pitch-matching — detect how far a recording sits from A=440 and shift the tuner to match it.
Built with privacy in mind
Tunary runs entirely in your browser. When you use the microphone tuner, your audio is analysed on your device and is never recorded, stored, or uploaded. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Who makes it
Tunary is an independent project. Questions, feedback, or bug reports are welcome at hello@tunary.io.
